The First Lady of the Republic of Armenia Rita Sargsyan and the spouse of the President of the Russian Federation, who has arrived to Armenia on a state visit, Svetlana Medvedeva on August 20 visited the National Gallery of Armenia and the Museum of History and observed the exponents of the centuries-long Armenian culture.

On May 31, First Lady Rita Sargsyan participated at the celebrations of the 10th anniversary of the benevolent Palm Foundation. The First Lady of Armenia is the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation. Present at the event were also the children who have been healed through the Walk Proudly program realized under the auspices of the Foundation. The celebration was dedicated to June 1 - Child Protection Day.

On May 8, First Lady Rita Sargsyan attended the Generations Bridge festive event at the G. Sundukian National Academic Theatre, dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

On May 5, First Lady Rita Sargsyan attended the opening of the Renaissance International Musical festival-competition at the V. Ajemian State Dramatic Theatre in Gyumri. The Festival is dedicated to the 95th anniversary of Mets Eghern.

At the initiative of First Lady Rita Sargsyan, a festive concert and a reception were organized at the Arno Babajanian Concert Hall on April 6 dedicated to the celebration of Women’s Month.
